Privacy Policy

Minesweeper (com.mysweePER555.minesweeper)
Developer: BogdanBobok · Effective date: 8 September 2026

This privacy policy explains what data the Minesweeper mobile application (the “Application”) collects, why it is collected, and who it is shared with. BogdanBobok (the “Service Provider”) operates the Application as an independent developer.

Data the Application collects

The Application does not ask you to register, does not create an account, and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location.

The following data is collected automatically by the advertising software built into the Application and is shared with Google:

Collection of this data serves the free, advertising-supported version of the Application. It stops entirely if you buy the optional “Remove ads forever” item described below: the advertising software is then switched off and makes no further requests.

Game data stored on your device

The Application keeps a small amount of data locally so that it can remember how you left it. This data stays entirely on your device, is never uploaded or transmitted anywhere, and is not readable by the Service Provider. It consists of the interface language, the chosen difficulty, whether vibration is enabled, your best times for each difficulty, the number of games you have finished, and a note of whether advertisements have been purchased away.

The “Our apps” screen also caches the names and icons of the developer’s other applications so that it works without an internet connection. All of this is removed when the Application is uninstalled.

Purchases

The Application offers one optional one-time purchase, “Remove ads forever”, which permanently disables all advertising. The payment is processed entirely by Google Play. The Service Provider never receives or stores your card number, name, billing address, or any other payment detail; the Application only learns whether the purchase exists, so that it can switch advertising off. Your entitlement is restored automatically on a new device or after reinstalling, because it is checked with Google Play at every start.

Network use

Apart from advertising and the purchase check, the Application connects to the internet for one purpose: the “Our apps” screen loads the names and icons of the developer’s other applications from their public Google Play pages. These requests contain no information about you or your use of the Application. The screen works without an internet connection, using data included in the Application itself.

Third-party services

The Application uses the following services, which have their own privacy policies:

Advertising consent

Where required by law, including for users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the Application shows a consent form before advertising is loaded, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. If you decline personalised advertising, advertisements are still shown, but they are not selected based on your interests. You can change your choice at any time by resetting the advertising ID in your device settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Data security and retention

All data leaves your device over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The Service Provider operates no servers and stores no user data. The data described above is held by Google according to its own retention policies. Application settings, such as the chosen language, difficulty, and records, are stored only on your device and are removed when the Application is uninstalled.

Deleting your data

Because the Service Provider does not store any of your data, there is nothing held by the developer that can be deleted on request. You can reset or delete the advertising ID at any time in your Android settings, and you can remove all locally stored data by clearing the Application’s data or uninstalling it.

Children

The Application is not directed at children and is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable age of digital consent). The Service Provider does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the Application changes. The current version is always available at this address, and the effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
